Prop-Tech Startup Vantage Properties Appoints New Board

Local prop-tech startup Vantage Properties has today announced four new board members and a new board chair who will each help support the business growth and penetration of Gosmartvalue their automated property valuation and real estate information platform across the continent.

In January 2022, the Global Valuation Standards RED BOOK, officially began recognizing an Automated Valuation as a written report, giving Gosmartvalue the room to deliver faster, affordable, and accurate valuations for financial institutions, to be used for registration of security as well as managing portfolio risk.

Vantage Properties is focused on ensuring access to key real estate information by all players of the industry; which include, but are not limited to the public, real estate professionals, financiers, and developers in order to avoid or reduce the risk of misaligned expectations, high-risk premiums attached to the opacity of information.

Vantage Properties CEO Sethebe Manake said in a statement, "We’re excited to expand our board with four new members who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work. We have worked diligently to ensure that our board and leadership represents a variety of experts in technology, innovation, real estate, and business development, in order to enhance our ability to really grow into a pan African business.”

“I am personally delighted to lead such a strong group of board members, and I look forward to serving with each of them in the coming years. I’m also very pleased to join Sethebe Manake and her team in the next chapter of the business." said the new Board Chair, Anton Borkum.
