Here Is Why The Twitter Logo Is Now A Dog

Another day, another Elon Musk shenanigan at Twitter. Yesterday, Twitter users were greeted by a new logo on the social media platform. Instead of the traditional blue bird, Twitter's new logo was now a Shiba Inu puppy, representing the meme cryptocurrency dogecoin.

So why did Mr Musk have the dogecoin as Twitter's logo? Well, no one really knows as neither Twitter nor Musk have made any announcements but several possibilities are, well, possible.

Firstly, it could be because Musk thought it would be funny. After all, this is a man who spends a fair amount of time posting memes on Twitter. Before purchasing the platform for $44 billion last year, Elon had jokingly said he would change the logo to the dogecoin should he buy Twitter. Well, looks like was not joking after all.

Reason number two could be that Musk is trolling prosecutors. On Friday, he asked, through his lawyers, a judge to throw out a $258 billion racketeering case where is he being accused of running a pyramid scheme to promote dogecoin. So in short, Elon is proving that he was not running a Dogecoin pyramid scheme by promoting dogecoin on Twitter. Sigh.

Dogecoin price, on the other hand, surged by as much as 30% following the change.

Other proposed reasons include the fact that it could be a three days late April Fools joke or that Musk is trying to bury searches about his racketeering case.

Either way, it is no secret that Twitter under the lead of Musk has been, uhhm, interesting. Whats next we wonder.
