Xavier Africa's Healthtech Offering Teledoc Wins 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 Pitch Battle

AI development agency Xavier Africa has won the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 pitch battle in the Deep Tech & Business to Business category through their solution Teledoc.

Teledoc combines a WhatsApp chatbot and web application to offer real-time data and analytics on diabetes patients' conditions. The solution enables early intervention whenever a patient's condition worsens, ultimately preventing avoidable deaths and improving patient outcomes.

Xavier Africa claims that unlike competitors that offer fragmented solutions, Teledoc covers all essential elements of remote care, from monitoring vitals to informing doctors about patients' reactions to medications.

"We are thrilled and honored to be recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 for our commitment to transforming the lives of diabetes patients in Sub-Saharan Africa through our Teledoc platform," said the CEO of Xavier Africa Tavonga Muchuchuti. "This award serves as validation of our efforts and as motivation to continue developing our products and making a significant impact on the healthcare industry."

For their efforts, Xavier Africa will receive an investment that will help propel their growth across the region. The company plans to use the funding to further develop Teledoc, expand its marketing efforts, and scale the solution to reach more patients and healthcare providers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
