According to data by website traffic monitoring platform SimilarWeb, Batswana are one of the most active users of the Betway website.
The data shows that of the 6.3 million visits to the site, traffic from Botswana made up 6.5% of the traffic. This translates to about 410,000 visits a month, the fourth most in the world after Brazil, Canada and the UK.
Betway is a betting site which allows users to place wagers on bets on games from various sporting codes including football, basketball and rugby.
