Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023 will be held in Botswana on 15 November 2023 under the theme “France - Botswana: Leveraging Opportunities for Cooperation Around Tech and Creative Innovation”. The event will bring together early-stage investors, start-ups, corporates, policymakers, Government officials, academia, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
The event seeks to provide an avenue for engagement on strategies to improve cooperation between Botswana and France in driving tech and innovative digital entrepreneurship as well as showcase and amplify the progress made by Botswana entrepreneurs. Some of the guests will include Hon. Molebatsi Molebatsi, Cabinet Minister- Minister of Agriculture, Ms. Emilie Ménard, Senior Investment Officer, Proparco, Mr. HervéLejeune, Inspector General for Agriculture at the French Ministry of Agriculture, Naledi Magowe, Co-founder- Brastorne, Tavonga Muchuchuti, President- Fintech Association of Botswana, Ogone Madisa, Chief Executive Officer- National Development Bank.
The event will be co-organised by sector-agnostic micro VC fund Pulaspace Capital and the French embassy in Botswana.
