inDrive has warned the general public and operators against Facebook pages and groups sharing information about the service. The company states that the platforms are in no way associated with the service and might mislead the public.
Since the increase in popularity of inDrive in the last few years, numerous Facebook groups have surfaced purporting to offer different services related to inDrive including ride requests and offers, alerts and others.
"These unauthorized Facebook groups falsely claim to be affiliated with inDrive, facilitating advertising of available cars and discussions related to inDrive activities," inDrive said in a statement. "We want to explicitly distance ourselves from these misleading channels and strongly advise our users to refrain from using them."
inDrive further stated that it will not be responsible for any issues that arise from users taking advise from the platforms.
