The Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) has announced the resignation of its Acting Chief Executive Officer, Pascaline Sefawe, effective 31 December 2025, as the state-owned housing agency prepares for a leadership transition at the start of the new year.
In a media release issued on Tuesday, BHC said Sefawe will be stepping down to pursue new opportunities, bringing to an end a tenure the board described as critical for maintaining stability at the Corporation. During her time as Acting CEO, Sefawe provided strategic direction and steady leadership, particularly as BHC continued to advance its long-term objectives in a challenging operating environment.
The BHC Board thanked Sefawe for her commitment and professionalism, noting that her contributions were instrumental in ensuring operational continuity and supporting the Corporation’s strategic goals.
At the same time, the board announced the appointment of Sekgele Daniel Ramahobo as the new Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 January 2026. Ramahobo will assume full responsibilities of the office and is expected to provide leadership and continuity during the transition period.
The board said it has expressed confidence in Ramahobo’s ability to steer the Corporation forward and pledged its full support as he takes on the role.
BHC reaffirmed its commitment to its mandate of transforming communities through the provision of decent housing, adding that the Corporation will continue serving clients, partners and stakeholders with integrity and excellence despite the leadership change.
