Local online marketplace Ponatshego has recently launched an Android and iOS app on top of its existing web app. Founded during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, the fast-growing marketplace celebrated its one-year anniversary yesterday.
In May, the young startup closed a P250 000 funding round from Angel Network Botswana, a local network of business angels, to help it continue its mandate of helping vendors sell all types of goods to customers online and offer a platform that makes it easy for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to transition to an online marketplace.
