Botswana Post has launched the Virtual Teller Machine (VTM), a tool that allows customers to buy airtime, prepaid electricity, pay DStv subscriptions, renew postal boxes and other services.
The services to be offered by VTMs will be added in phases, with Phase 1 offering the aforementioned services and Phase 2 adding more services including card dispenser, card withdrawals, cash deposits, disbursement of social benefits, barcode reader and call centre capabilities.
The VTMs will be available in select locations including Gaborone, Francistown, Maun, Seronga and Palapye.
