The Embassy of France in South Africa is offering southern Africa startups to attend the VivaTech conference, Europe's biggest startup and tech event, in Paris, France in June 14-17 2023.
The French Embassy in South Africa is sponsoring 10 Southern African start-ups. The selected start-ups will have the opportunity to attend VivaTech event in Paris: ticket to Paris, hotel, and VivaTech access pass, will be offered.
To benefit from this program, the following is required from startups:
- A pitch session in Pretoria on April 24, 2023 where the 10 best start-ups will be selected (travel to Pretoria at your own expenses),
- Pre-trip preparation,
- Your presence in Paris from June 12-17, 2023 (The French Embassy will cover the plane ticket, the hotel, and the access to Vivatech event).
On the agenda will be meetings with the French innovation ecosystem (Station F, Station A, le Wagon, incubators etc.), B2B meetings according to your activities and participation in the event. Therefore, you are required to fill out this form.
The deadline to apply is March 21st. The top 20 companies will be invited to pitch in Pretoria, at the French residence, on April 24, 2023, and the top 10 will go to Paris.
