Letlole La Rona Limited (LLR) has announced the resignation of Independent Non-Executive Director Zola Lupondwana, who will be stepping down from the board effective 31 December 2025.
Lupondwana joined the board in June 2023 and has since played a central role in the company’s governance structures. He served as Chairperson of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and sat on the Investment Committee, positions through which he contributed to strengthening oversight processes and advancing LLR’s strategic objectives.
In a statement, the board credited Lupondwana for improving the company’s governance framework, enhancing financial oversight, and demonstrating strong engagement across board activities.
“The Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr.Lupondwana for his sterling and invaluable contribution to the Company and wishes him every success in his future endeavours,” the announcement read.
In November, Letlole La Rona CEO Kamogelo Mowaneng also resigned from her position and was replaced in the interim by Rorisang Modikana.
