G4S Botswana Appoints New Acting MD and Non-Executive Director

G4S Botswana has appointed Tobile Lemo as its Acting Managing Director and Ronel Venter-De Roubaix as a Non-Executive Director as the company makes changes to its leadership structure.

Lemo replaces Mothusi Molokomme, who exited at the end of July.

Lemo, who has been G4S Botswana’s Finance Director, took up the acting managing director role on 1 August 2026, according to an announcement issued by the company on Friday.

She is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years’ experience across accounting, finance, auditing and risk management. She is a Fellow of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Lemo holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Professional Accounting from Monash University. She began her career at Ernst & Young before moving into executive roles in the oil and gas, multinational and parastatal sectors.

She also serves on the Finance and Procurement Committee of the Quantity Surveyors Registration Council and chairs the Fairheads Umbrella Fund.

Separately, Venter-De Roubaix was appointed to G4S Botswana’s board as a Non-Executive Director representing the company’s majority shareholder, effective 22 July 2026.

Venter-De Roubaix, a Chartered Accountant, is G4S’s Regional Finance Director. She joined the company in 2016 as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for Africa and became Finance Director for South Africa Cash Solutions in 2023 before moving into her current multi-market role.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pretoria.
