Botswana Development Corporation (BDC) has announced the resignation of Dr. Botsang Ramorwa from its Board of Directors, effective 14 September 2026. Ramorwa joined the board in October 2025.
Dr. Ramorwa, who served as a Non-Executive Director, is stepping down following an increase in her professional responsibilities, which BDC said now require her full attention and make it difficult for her to continue serving effectively on the Board.
During her tenure, Dr. Ramorwa played an active role in the Board Risk and Investment Committee as well as the Finance and Audit Committee. BDC said her expertise and contributions supported the Corporation's governance, oversight and strategic decision-making processes.
The Board expressed its gratitude to Dr. Ramorwa for her contributions and wished her continued success in her professional endeavours.
