Some of the 20-year-old's achievements include winning the gold medal in the 100 meters and a silver in the 200 meters at both the 2021 and 2022 World Athletics Junior Championships. He is also the youngest-ever victor of the prestigious 2022 African Championship in the 200-meter event. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being the youngest African athlete to compete in track and field since 1972.

“We are immensely proud to welcome our youngest ambassadors to the TAG Heuer Family”, said Frédéric Arnault, CEO of TAG Heuer. “Our shared commitment for high performance and avant-gardist spirit make these partnerships a natural fit. We eagerly look forward to supporting them in the years to come, as well as their remarkable journey towards the big 2024 happenings.”

For his part, Tebogo said he is looking forward to the opportunities that will come with the partnership.

“As the newest brand ambassador for TAG Heuer, I am absolutely thrilled and filled with excitement. Joining forces with such a prestigious brand is a dream come true for me. Being in the company of their esteemed ambassadors and inspirations is truly an honor that I cherish. I cannot express enough my enthusiasm for this incredible partnership and the opportunities it brings,” he added.

TAG Heuer is a luxury watch brand that is part of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE ("LVMH"), the world’s leading luxury group.

According to Morgan Stanley estimates, TAG Heuer sales were CHF 729 million (£643 million) in 2022. Some of its most prominent ambassadors include tennis champion Naomi Osaka and actor Ryan Gosling aka Ken from Barbie.
